Yes. They use a different bittering agent, which comes from caffeine of the coffee plant instead of cocaine hydrochloride of the coca plant.

Reddit is a great source of bad information. Same as Wikipedia.

Pepsi is artificial cola, coke uses real cola.

I think you've got your ingredients swapped around in your mindbrain.

They both use Cola (Kola) nut extract which is high in caffeine.  Pepsi was primarily made from Pepsin + Cola because it was invented by a pharmacist back when pharmacies had soda fountains.  Pepsin aids with digestion & Pepsi was initended to be a healthy drink.

Coke was made from Coca leaves & Kola nut extract.

Not just reddit, ny times, fox, wiki..How do you know that they stopped using coca leaves decades ago? When did they stop? I’m pretty sure both Pepsi and coke no longer use kola nut.
