Hey there Pokie, 10Bears

I notice you delete F01TWR0 be careful with that you could crash program. Another way is place A1 where you want go into the oba file find F01TWR0 and delete whole line, now find F01TWR1 and replace it with F01TWR0. Your default tower should now be a1

Thanks 10bears, will try that method too. Since i won't be able to get online, i'm gonna spend the next 6 months fiddling with the Terrain Editor in my off-hours. Maybe even try to develope some good h2h terrains, or even a "historical" one. I appreciate all the help, tips, and general assistance.

Thanks 10Bears

Thats what I was doing before, but since the last editor and this editor2 has been working pretty stable on my computer I've been doing it this way.

Camouflage I'm a computer dummy so I'm not much help.

I was wondering does it make any difference if your video settings in the editor or the game was set the same as your desktop.

You may be looking at a new video card, I know I will soon.  Thinking about a  NVIDIA card.

I owe you a beer or two, mate!  It WORKED!!  :D  I'll head into the game now and see how the frames are.

Thanks a million!

Heh, and I thought of myself as somewhat computer literate.  ;)

I rejoiced too early.  TE2beta doesn't work.  :(  DX8beta works, although frames are a bit lower than with "regular" AH.

That was the same for me with the dx8 aceshigh version of the game.  Ran slower so I'm staying with the regular version.

P.S. Funny your dx8 version works now but not the editor2.  If you installed the lastest drivers to run the dx8 game and it's not to your liking I wonder if you uninstalled DX8a driver and install DX7.  I wonder if the editor2 would work then.

Now I'm saying this without looking to see if the editor2 needed DX8

I'll try the voodoo3 beta drivers and see if that works.

Nope, now the dx8beta stopped working too.  Back to the latest official drivers then!  ;)

I was wonder if you try wickedGL driver.  I had used it before, last year with playing Quake2.

I give you 1 site, may have something there that will help.  They were for voodoo cards.
