Announcers were saying that Purdue has more wins over #2 ranked teams than any other team.

Lesson:  If you are ranked #2, stay away from Purdue.

Well University Of Cincinnati is #2 at this time. I would love to see Perdue try to take on Luke Fickell and the Bearcats.

We've lost to you relatively recently. I think both ends of a home and home.

But seriously rooting for Ohio State to be #2 by the time we play them.  I don't think Michigan State can climb high enough.

Weekend had some strange ones in it.

Penn State beaten by Illinois (bottom of the Big 10) in 9 overtimes.

Clemson lost to Pitt.

Tennessee doing well against Alabama for a while.  Go Vols!

Kansas looking like they would beat Oklahoma, until flood gates opened late.

Turnover fest in Oregon vs. UCLA.

Wake Forest vs. Army ending at 70-56 in regulation.  If you watch highlights of only the touchdown plays, you see the whole game.

And one of the most-surprising runs I've seen in a while (with a little help from his friends):

UC advanced to #2 alongside beating Navy 27-20. Also in a massive twist adding NFL just for this once. The Bengals somehow are tied for 1st in the AFC North which I am happy and surprised as well.

Well, not a disappointment to you, but it was a grave and disheartening loss for me and my beloved Wolverines.  :cry

It was an exciting game, with many great plays by each side and by lots of players.  But, oh, for a few more inches on just a couple of plays, or a call or two not to be reversed on replay.

OSU looks very strong currently.  We'll see how it goes.  But some games, it's just not your day.  That can happen to OSU, too, I suppose, once in a great while.

I don't think they are as good as their ranking shows. People forget they lost to Oregon and then played 5 cupcakes before playing an injury riddled PSU. While I thought PSU at 18.5 point dogs was laughable, I knew they would not win. And they kept it close besides some stupid turnovers and bad coaching decisions.

Michigan should roll them.

To be honest,  I did not care who won.  As long as they both play like the ranked team they are. I think one of them or maybe both can beat my buckeyes.

That might be so early in the season.  They still have #5 MSU and following week #9 MU.   Besides,  they are mostly fr and So players.  Not bad for a young team to step it up.

Not sure what this means. Up until Saturday, Ohio state has played nobody but Oregon and lost to them. That is my only point.

As for being Freshman and Sophomore players, that is no excuse as Ohio State has a top 5 recruiting class year in and year out.

They lost a lot of good players last year.

Here is a good debate. Who do you think they should be playing?
