You are factually incorrect.  There are crazy people on both sides that represent neither side.

There is a desire to have a fair election where only votes from American citizens are counted. That isn't overthrowing an election, it's just verifying it.  Different opinions regarding who is stealing the election are fine. Why wouldn't both sides want to settle the question with an investigation?

This. Exactly this.

And, as far as I've seen there's only one poster throwing around Nazi this/Nazi that. So, yeah...there are crazy people on that side for sure.

Would you support Trump declaring marshal law, stopping the peaceful transfer of power on Jan 20, and forcing states he lost to re-vote?

The difference is, they may not have liked it or thought it was fair, but Gore did accept the verdict of the Supreme Court and conceded and called for National unity.

The Supreme Court decision came down December 12, 2000. Gore conceded the next day. AFTER the SC had taken the case and RULED against Gore.

I am pretty sure Trump probably feels he hasn't as yet had his day in court.

At present, Trump has filed another case before the Supreme Court. You'll recall Hillary advised Biden to "not concede under any circumstances, because I think this is going to drag out". Looks like instead Trump took her advice, advice from your side of the fence.

If you can show any verifiable instance of Trump suggesting the use of the US military to overthrow the results and rule by decree, please do. Not Flynn or anyone else....Trump.

If you cannot, perhaps you will See the difference?

Of course not. Additionally, I have not seen any Trump supporter on this board saying they would. This appears to be one of your TDS fever dreams.

Now, I CAN imagine Antifa rioting/looting/burning if Trump had been declared the winner. THAT is the difference between the two sides of the fence.

The Supreme Court decision came down December 12, 2000. Gore conceded the next day. AFTER the SC had taken the case and RULED against Gore.

I am pretty sure Trump probably feels he hasn't as yet had his day in court.

First I stated the Gore "accepted" the SC verdict and conceded.  I already stated the SC verdict came first, hence the past tense of "accept".

Second, Trump has had 60 court cases and a pleading before the Supreme Court.

What is the criteria to judge when he has felt he has had his day in court?  Do we just delay the transfer of power until he says it's OK? Does it get to be his choice?  At what point do you think Trump will voluntarily release power if you give him that option?

Do you think one more court case is going to change his behavior?  What if he loses that second SC case, and decides he needs a third?  A tenth?

Any cases he wants to file between in court between now and Jan 20, I say have fun.  But nothing short of a court order from the SC or a Federal judge should interfere with the transfer of power on Jan 20.  any attempt of his is treason.

No evidence will be good enough for you that he is contemplating marshal law short of seeing the tanks rolling down main-street.  And then you, Eagler, RotBaron, and the other Trump apologists will say, "well....he had to do it because...well Hillary and stuff. Antifa...Kamala, blah blah blah..."

I've given the Trumpers every opportunity to come out and say, "Oh, well he pulls that and I'm done with him and I'll man the barricades myself."

You're the first one who has even pretended to be against it and frankly, I suspect you will change your opinion later.  I wish I could believe you.  I've lost all trust in many of my fellow citizens over the last 5 years.  I truly do not believe the vast majority of Trump supporters would ever draw any line, any line at all on Trump's behavior.  They would merely adjust the excuses.

We'll find out over the next month.  I hope to God we can get to the other side of this without seeing violence.

You had 60 court appearances to make your case.  Fail x 59.  (One was a minor technicality issue that was non-material.)  No believable evidence was produced of wide spread systemic fraud.
The states have had recounts and verifications.
The states have certified their results.  Including states with Republican Govenors and Secretaries of State
The Electoral College has voted.

This election is over.  Any attempt to derail results past this point is plain treason.

It would show real imagination that all these judges, committees and courts are the Dems stealing the vote because they won 99% of the cases. Do you really think they are THAT organized and together. LOL!

That said, if there truly are voting issues that these mostly Republican courts and entities say are legit, yes by all means bring the evidence forward. In most cases it was deemed they did not have credible evidence.

I'm not a Dem BTW.  Seems if you identify issues with one's own party you get labeled deep state or something (never trumper, RHINO etc.).  Just labels.  What we all are are Americans that love our country.  ...and probably Bacon.  See there are two things we all can agree on!  :rock

You have TTDS pretty bad man. Hope you don't blow a blood vessel.

That's exactly what I expect will happen. Trump will probably continue to try to get his day in court right up to the inauguration. Then, he'll just vacate the WH and go on about his life.

As yet, I have not seen in any place AND YOU HAVE NOT PROVIDED any evidence that Trump is contemplating marshal law. Just another fever dream on your part IMO. Let's see your proof...or, to quote you....go pound sand.

First, I don't think anyone owes you any response, especially considering the way you throw the Nazi slander around. I'm too polite to make the response this deserves. So, I'll just say I did my hitch in the USAF, I did swear to defend the US Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. I still feel bound by that oath.

Jeez. Get over yourself. This is just more TTDS fever dream. You have no idea what I, Eagler or RotBaron will say. Anyone that supports Trump is an apologist for him?

Now you are projecting. I really don't give a big dog turd whether you believe me or not. Suspect anything you like.

If there's violence after Biden's inauguration, it will likely be the loonies on your side of the fence, your fellow travelers. Antifa, BLM et al rioting/looting/burning in joyful celebration of Kamala's Presidency. My dad always said "tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you what you are".  Your fellow travelers are rioters/looters/arsonists.

Here's a challenge for you. Clearly, you hate Trump. You call him "evil". OK, it's been 3+ years. Name the top 5 "evil" things you think he's done. Let's see the reasons for your hate. Lay out your case. Tell us why we should be so happy that Kamala will inherit the White House.

Too stumped to come up with the top 5 evil things Trump has done as President?

Show us the reasoning behind your hate.

And yeah, NAZI is way more offensive than Marxist/Clown/Communist. For starters, Marxists/Clowns/Communists didn't start a World War that killed ~60 million people.

Although Marxists/Communists have probably ruined more livelihoods than that.

Clowns? Well, I doubt they killed very many at all.

These top Dems and Repubs never say anything directly.  They use "buffers" (mob\Godfather reference).  Cohen gave several examples how Trump did this. Dems do it too.

If these guys know nothing else, they usually know at least how to give orders without giving orders.

Now that HT, hisownself, has picked a side and jumped into the fray I'll just silently watch the AHBB degrade into a back-slapping/high-fiving pro-Trump playground and likely seldom venture here.

Dale, I always thought not allowing political topics to be discussed here was actually healthy for the community. I now suspect that wisdom came from Skuzzy. Here's hoping the reaping I suspect comes with the current sowing is merely my anxiety flaring up.

You think this in match Game '77?  lol

There doesn't need to be 5.  One will do.  Any attempt, or even a thought of an attempt,  to overthrow the peaceful transfer of power after a certified election should be enough to earn you a traitor's fate.

All the rest will be handled with the sealed indictments are are sitting waiting to be served the second he walks off the White House lawn.  That will go on for year.  It will be great TV to watch.

So the rules are Trumpers can call everyone Socialists, Marxists, and Communists and that's perfectly polite, but by God don't infer any Trumper is a Nazi.  LoL.  That would be awesome, if there were any intention of letting Trumpers set the rules.   :rofl

I was there then, and in 2004 and argued for Bush both times.

The difference is, they may not have liked it or thought it was fair, but Gore did accept the verdict of the Supreme Court and conceded and called for National unity.

Neither suggested using the US military to overthrow the results and rule by decree.

See the difference?

Extremely different political climate at the time. The nation was mostly unified and trying to heal after planes flew into the WTC and Pentagon.
They're casting their bait over there, see?

I assume you are not referring to Gore's acceptance of the Supreme Court decision, his conceding, and his call for National unity, which was Dec 13, 2000.

Why didn't he just keep filing endless challenges until he got the result he wanted?  Because at some point he saw what was best for the country was more important than what was in his narrow best interest.

Al Gore will always be a bit of a clown.  He was just not a toxic, malignant clown.

How can you trust anything Flynn advocates for as being on the up-and-up? He's already been to prison once for breaking the law - lying to the FBI about conducting illegal activity on behalf of Trump.
