Thrustmaster 1600M Z axis issues fixed
« on: February 06, 2021, 12:04:06 PM »
I have the Thrustmaster 1600M HOTAS and my z-axis started going nuts as if it were possessed.  I  found this video that solved the problem!

You do not have to take the whole thing apart, just take out screws, split it open and wipe the sensor clean with Q-Tip.  Put it back together and check buttons still work before you reinsert screws!

All this has nothing to do with the Q-tip part. The fact is you had a screw loose... which makes sense and answers a lot of questions.   :devil

The T Flight hotas and sticks have a very similar issue and getting at it also involves just opening the handle. Terrible design.
