ETOMA Icon issues

Anyone having icon issues on the new ETOMA map please post them here.

I just experienced it.   Had a formation of B-17s attacking A19 (Stavanger, Norway) out of A1 (Norwich).   Was attacked by a Ta 152 (Stepsis); he had no icons.   A low P-47 climbed up and attacked but he DID have icons.

Airjer joined me as gunner, he reported no icons as well, and we chatted with Stepsis afterward, he said he didn't have icons either.

We had scattered cumulus clouds at about 15,000'  and that is around where we were flying.

What we really need is a film showing the issue, that will give Hitech the information he needs to determine the problem.

I happen to be filming.  You can see form the film, even when flipping icons on with the film viewer, Stepsis has no icons, but the P-47M does have them.

Here's another film.  The Brew has no icon.  No friendlies in the fight could see his icon.  He was in the area earlier and I did see his icon.  Don't know if he landed and re-upped but don't think so.  An earlier film shows him hanging around at 20k for a while before he came down into the fight.

Today I could not get the icon toggle (alt+i) to turn the icons back on (neither friendly nor nme).

I never heard anything.  Don't know if he looked at it.  Apparently the issue has been seen for years in SE.  They just avoid using certain cloud type files known to be problematic.

I get this frequently. Yesterday I was hunting a set of bombers, they had icon until they flew through a cloud, the icon never came back.
Tonight a whole buff mission with 7+ sets of bombers were flying around without icons, some of the friendly Komets attacking them didn't have icon, too. Somebody claimed the mission flew through clouds earlier and lost their icons there, but I wasn't there to see this.
