Was good going back and reading that thread from 2010. I played in top squadrons of both FA and AH during that time period. Good to see those names and a nice walk down memory lane. 2010 was good but 03 was better. Heck of a game. Sad to see the numbers going down, even worse to see names that have passed on or no longer play that were a big part of this community.

If you contact HiTech is he able to pull up older handles that you have forgotten?

Not to hijack the thread, but needing help refreshing my memory.  In the early 2000s, the WWII multiplayer flightsim landscape consisted of the following:

Air Warrior (Kesmai, later Electronic Arts, who bought it and then shut it down)
WarBirds (iEN)
Aces High (HitechCreations)
Fighter Ace, Combat Flight Simulator 3 (Microsoft)
IL-2 Sturmovik (UbiSoft)
WWII Online (Playnet  Cornered Rat Software)

Today, we have:

Aces High III (HiitechCreations)
IL-2 Great Battles series (1C Game Studios)
DCS: WWII (Eagle Dynamics)
War Thunder (Gaijin)
World of Warplanes (Wargaing.net)

Is that about right?

WWII Online is still alive and mostly doing ok. Current WWIIOL 1.0 assets are being ported over to UE5 engine to form the basis of WWIIOL 2.0.

Sometime in the next two weeks.     :bolt:
