Traceroute Pingplotter Packet Loss
« on: August 29, 2023, 07:24:08 PM »
Intermittently for 3 months I get kicked off with the error message "Host Connection Lost". Ran a Ping Plotter report, see attachment. Reporting over 70% packet loss on both Hops 10 and 11. I am unsure where to go from here or who to contact. Will HiTech contact these servers to try to fix the issue? Thank you in advance!

First off, you were pinging the HTC webpage. The address for the melee server is  71.252.137.153 well as of 2018 the last time the page was updated. Also run to plot longer. I run mine every second for 5-10 minutes to see whats going on.

Second and bunch of things to check on your side are posted here, https://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,68316.msg637923.html#msg637923

A lot of things can cause an internet issue on your computer. Clean up your end first.

If after you clean up your side and you are still having issue you could ask Hitech to trace back from his side and see if the same hops are dropping out. If so he could contact that group and see is they could check out the servers, Skuzzy use to but Hitech might not be up to it yet.
