This Me 410 was flown by 1-Schlachtgeschwader 152 from Prossnitz Airfield in Czechoslovakia during 1944. It featured a snarling wolf or dog's head painted on the nose and a white rudder. SG 152 was primarily an operational training unit for attack aircraft pilots and so operated a variety of attack aircraft such as the Me 110, Me 410, Hs 123 and FW 190. On occasion however its more experienced pilots were sent up to intercept USAAF bombers flying in its vicinity.
