lol oh sweet child of summer haha!
Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

How would an onboard radar work? The new radar settings are like having an AWACS.

That's exactly an answer to make sure newcomers don't stay.

The fact is that HiTech has had some serious health problems and the game hasn't had updates or new planes for quite some time. What is going to happen in future, is not known.

Sorry maybe…

The owner has stated on the website that no new development will occur. I can’t seem to find it atm.

The ability to pick up down pilots would be cool

Good suggestion, Eagler!

I'd love the chance to go behind lines to pick up a downed pilot in a Catalina, C47, or Storch.. although that Storch flight might take too long... lol

Common Luftwaffe habit at EF, as there not all downed pilots were taken prisoners. If one bailed over England or made forced landing in there, survival was almost certain, but in Russia odds were more against.

What comes to idea of picking up downed ones, I warmly wish it to be added, but with these numbers it might be hard to find volunteers to perform it. And Storch needs escort, as there is no NOE alt.

Ya. Lots of stuff has changed since the AWACS came. Flying a goon in to contested airspace is pretty much certain death now.

Coupla years ago I mocked this up in Photoshop.  I think it would be very cool to have flying boats like the PBY in AH.

So said many others as well. I have several shelf meters literature about WW2 aviation, mostly seen from Axis side. I don't think they are all telling fairy tales.
