Easy mode flight model
Truth.  War Thunder is similar.  DCS is TOO LONG TO FLY mode.  AH always had the best balance between realism and time to get in the air.  :aok

Not on the Wolfpack Server (DCS) (Normandy).  Some of the front line bases are about the same or even closer.

Noted.  I saw some of the jet take-off check off lists all before engine start and I fell asleep in the first 5 minutes.  LOL attention span problems galore!  :aok

Don't neglect startup procedures or when your silent jet is sitting on the ramp surrounded by zombies you'll be sorry.  ;)

Most A/C have an auto-start.  Look in controls under Assists

You guys will sell your crap anywhere.. DCS Cockroaches

Any new planes? A shame new production and bug fixes shut down, ya know bugs just hanging in suspended animation.

Too bad, had a chance of being a decent game.

Maybe they should have hired subcontractors, oh thats right, they can’t pay their bills.

Maybe start a gofundme page. I can donate $5 in dimes from under my car seat. Mismanagement is everywhere

Owell, maybe someone will buy it and finish it. Maybe they can do some real IT work with servers then.

A shame ya look so desperate

Are they going to get a loan to pay off investors they got to save their last bad financial situation? Ya know, since more of their players are afraid to pre-pay for new planes DCS can’t seem to afford, and fewer pre-pays digs a deeper pit

Owell, AH will out live it, there will always be real fun found here. Cuz damn pushing buttons instead of fighting is so much more fun.

I have a shovel you can barrow

I think he was referring to time on the tarmac to get to fly, then finding an actual fight. Then rinse and repeat for another fight <shrug>

Since Way actually spoke more than 2 words, I tend to agree with him. It's snooze material.

I wonder why IL2 isn't more popular?
Its got normal servers that are like ah with icons  with easy mode engine management where you can air start a mile or two from the main combat area,
dogfight servers that have no icons and full engine management with air starts in a small combat area while at the same time
running servers with battles like fso or an AH scenario like combat box.

Unless you are into jets, it seems to me that IL2 would be the closest to AH3. I really enjoy both and the fact that you can get into IL2 silly cheap with close to a dozen planes when it's on sale seems to make it a good deal to me.

I've downloaded and flow the 51 and the 24 offline and to me it didn't seem significantly better. Maybe I was missing something.

To each his own I guess.

lil math

during the 20-30 minutes spent on the tarmac getting ready to fly, I can be in 2-4 fights in AH. That's before you even leave the ground.
