HT and I agree we’re convinced its Nvidia & DirectX related, wiyh something Nvidia recently implemented.
.
According to HT they’ve had this intermittent problem since the DX exe was put out, predating ISP upgrade. My driver updated at similar time to ISP upgrade.
I’ve read of other full screen games having similar issues. The common center point tends to be GPU and DX. Nvidia being the most common card used in gaming. I have yet to see anyone with AMD complaining.
I’ve been experimenting with Nvidia settings. I got it gone going off default settings. However, got it back through experimenting with a combo of settings. The difference now is its super quick, minimized from 2 seconds to 1/4-1/2 a second.
The point that I get reactions keeps me on the path of Nvidia & Dx 11.
About 2 months, give or take, is when the updated driver for my GPU came out. The problem with this concept is a player on an older system his driver hadn’t updated in quite a while.
Nailing it down seems to be extensive experimenting. With about 20 settings a combo igs a hard find.
I had one person still get it on DX 9 still get it, but not sure its the same exact issue.
For now, if you don’t use VR use DX 9.
The difference is posted on my AH Tech Hanger site.
I also added how to flush the DirectX Shader Cache on both Graphics and DX pages. I’ll also add how to use DX debugger.
Even that said. My next experiment would be to role back the driver and look for results.
But seriously, using DX9 exe should help.
