New Arena Radar settings

The minimum Radar Altitude setting has been updated in the MA. It was raised from an original setting of 65 ft. to 100 ft.

Credit to HTC, that's a good start! Hoping some further slight adjustments are made, for one, no dot dar outside of radar rings.

I remember backing the day we used to do now Lanc raids and take out a vbase for a quick take. NDisles was fun because of all the water you can just pop up unexpected.

Think it should be 150-200ft to have any real effect on the MA. Nice to know that SOME adjustments are being made. And does that 100ft apply if your in icon range of another aircraft or tank or does magic AWACS cancel it out?

I asked to increase it to the 200 ft. level, but Hitech was not agreeable to that number. I am hopeful we may be able to raise it again in the not to distant future. It will depend, I believe, on how the results are. As to the "AWACS" issue, I do not know. That is something we can test.

I have noticed Hitech is spending more time on Game work. What that means long term, we'll have to wait and see. I am aware that there are others making efforts in support of the long term viability of the game, beyond Kong and myself.

I think AW was 100 ft.
HT had some things in the works until personal problems struck.

1) patience
2) don’t expect miracles, small steps
3) cut with scalpel, not chain saw

Dar icon or Dar bar?

Dar Icon is now 100 ft. up from 65 ft., Dar Bar setting is still 250 ft.
