Dolby's Top 10 Monsters of the AH Sky

I was perusing a few old films and ended up going down that old reminiscence road..
It got me thinking about all those people I've shared the AcesHigh sky with..
Some great and respected allies, others great and respected opponents.
Over the years I've flown against and along side some superb people, even recruited some of them to fly with me..

So many have left an impression in their manner of flying this little gem of a combat sim.

I whacked on some hard rock and ranked a top 10 out of those to keep it interesting.

I enjoyed flying with all those guys in the early days of Muppets, and del in the 80th.  Two guys could fly neck deep into a shatstorm and thin out the air pretty quick.  I learned a lot from fester and kappa early on in my AH journey.

Tour 96, with 899 kills v 20 deaths with a 39 K/D in all sorts of planes... ridiculous lol

I left you out Violator because if I put you up there I'd have to put in Batfink, m00t, Skyyr, Fester, FastTone, BigR, Bunnies and Rudeboi too  Trobes, up there.

Yeah, however I have been #1 fighter rank more times than all those guys, and won 2 KOTH TOC championships, just sayin  

There's a lot of great sticks that that have graced the skies over the 20 years, that's for sure. Pointing out a sheer "best" top 10 is up to interpretation. I was confused by your last 3 in the top 10, but to each their own 

My thing is, you have 1v1 greatness and also MA greatness and then special events greatness, since they all have different angles and measures of game, ACM, SA understanding and plane choices, so when looking at best overall, I like to look at all those gameplay situations.

I do certainly miss the old style game with the Blue Knights and Muppets doing some crazy fights and furballs. Looking back at the #s back then is just crazy compared to now. The current top fighter ranks wouldn't even be in the top 40 back then, lol. #s in the arena certainly do make a difference.

Its a list from one person of players who made an impression on him.
It’s not the Grammy Awards won by votes. I don’t think it was meant to stir the pot. My list could be different.

Many of us know through the decades of great sticks. They all had their own era.
I myself, as much as I prove true suckage now, I was #1 a cpl times in AW RR arena,…25+ yrs ago.

AKAK, Shane, Rauml then Skyrock and I ran even,…depending on who you ask We threw every rock at each other. Those who remain are considered friends.

Back in band camp, flying with 1ijac, POS and KDF as pretty much wingmen, introduced me that #1 is good, but not important, just have fun with it. Those who choose fun last the longest. Its the best reality escape.

All that warm and fuzzy stuff said,.. competition is healthy, sparing is healthy, more so it proves, even with lower numbers (which I hope we’re all working on) and aging graphics, the game is still working and nostalgic.

Other than that, you SUCK! I’m the BEST there’s ever been.<cough> <runs>

Most of us kill more than we die nowadays ...

Not sure about you but that wasn't always the case for me

Most listed above have killed me way more than I ever did them but most are gone today without a means to attempt to extract revenge lol

It's a different ma without the hordes..still some very fun fights in the right situations

KOTH and fuzeman are dearly missed by some of us
