Also recall the DPI on a computer monitor (.26 for most now, or better) is a better image than most TVs you have around now, unless you have recently bought a new TV in the past year or two.

AHHHH....GET THE YOSHI SONG OUT OF MY HEAD......

Animal, GTA3 is worth it alone. Even if you don't do the missions, you can occupy yourself for hours and hours just fuggin around. I have gotten really good at getting up to 5 stars (they send out FBI after you then), but I get killed instantly if I get 6 stars (gotta shoot down 2 police copters with a rocket launcher) because the national guard will roll out tanks and run over you.

It's cool as hell though!

Yeah I played over a friends house.
I pulled an old lady out of her car, and then I kicked her repeteadly until she stopped moving, then I took her car and ran over a few cops.

Final Fantasy is pretty cool.  However, there are long drawn out mellow dramatic scenes throughout the game which you can't skip for some reason.  It gets really annoying when you've got to fight a boss, and you have to sit through 5 minutes of dialogue everytime you have to re-fight him.
It is also turn based fighting, so if you're not into that, you may not like it as much.  I am more into real time action, so it took some getting used to.  It is a beautiful game though.  If you've seen the Final Fantasy movie, the rendered cut scenes in the game are just as well done.

However, I don't think you should go out and buy a PS2.  You should just play more Aces High.  Just tell yourself, "one more sortie..."  :p

GTA 3 Was the coolest game i ever played :) Just tried it over my cousins house, it's a great prequel to GTA 2. I espically like how you can beat people with bats, pipes, and you can pick up hookers :D :D

Hmmm....i did like the final fantasy series on the ps1,  was curious how it would be carried over to the ps2.

Ok, ive decided I'll buy it a ps2 when final fantasy X gets released.  If i don't like it i'll sell the thing to my mate.

If i go wasting all that money and i don't like it.....i'm gonna come looking for u superfly:D

Prequel?!  I was not aware of that.

GTA3 alone is definitely worth buying a PS2.  The only game that gives you the freedom to move about and do so many illegal things :D.  The city itself actually feels like a living, breathing city.  The depth of gameplay is what makes it so great.  Aside from just goofing around and randomly blowing things up, the plot isn't too bad either :)  It almost felt like I was working for a Soprano =]
