How use the AILERON'S TRIMS?
« on: March 12, 2002, 02:58:41 PM »
Some months ago I had a dog with Frenchy, same plane Yak U.   Him defeated me easily and says me what him use elevator and ailerons trims. I know use the elevator's trim because I fly the g10 lot of times and all know the hard dives of 109's. But I try learn how take  advantage with the aileron's trim without any success.  some trick?

when the plane is properly trimmed, you'll be able to let go of the stick and the plane will fly as if you have ctrl X on as long as the speed does not vary.

Aileron trim to me is just to keep it level (wingtip to wingtip)

rudder trim centers the ball

while elevator trim helps in the loops/turns

the rest is in the stick and pedals...
