I don't know if ,having already the mosquito and the me110, this would be really needed, but I'd really like to see the Beaufighter in AH. It was used in a lot of roles from heavy fighter to anti-shipping.
Tell me wha you guys think of this.

I recall that when I was pushing for the Mosquito FB.VI to be added there was only a small margin favoring the Mossie over the Beaufighter.  There is a significant number of people who would like to see the Bueafighter in AH.

I personally would rather see more Japanese aircraft and have the next RAF aircraft be a Mosquito B.XVI, Firefly and a Wellington.

I think its a fine idea :)

We tried to get a Beaufighter in WBs .  I sent the data to iEn and Dave Moody built the 3d model.  Its just not happening over there, so I hope they do it here!

Here's some of the stuff I have on the Beaufighter:

We need Biplanes (ei russian and itailian biplanes to fill in the gap)! and a buaeghter would be cool too before we add any more late war planes like ME262 that only served about 6 months.

I would like to see some biplanes and baufighter (know im spellin that wrong) in the same patch.

I like the idea of the Beau.
It was a rugged and heavily armed aircraft. Overtaken by the faster Mosquito, it still posessed some great qualities.
In AH the most valuable one would probably be its loadout. Imagine quad 20mm, AND rockets AND a torpedo.......there is nothing we have even close to the Beau in an anti shipping role..
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

I've always wanted a Beaufighter!
I personally think it would be an excellent addition especially in the Anti-shipping role.

I try not to play the I WANT THIS SPECIFIC MODEL TYPE game but would love to see the Australian built Mk21 only because it'd be a RAAF a/c!

Mk21 (Modified MkXIC) : 4x20mm ; 4x0.50 ; 8 x Rockets ; 500lb Bomb load ; 1 x Torpedo

However any type would be great, but I do concede the pressure for more IJN/IJAAF, Italian, and Russian a/c is likely to help flesh out those types first.

We can reconsider Beaufighter after we got few japanese planes and maybe some russians too.

Beaufighters would be great but with Mosquito and Boston/Havoc there's not really a hole for it to fill.  I'm sure they'll get to it eventually.

The hole that really needs to befilled is Biplanes, there were allotta WW2 biplanes and they played a very important role in ww2 from early war to midwar/early late war. they would be very usefull could outmanuver any other plane the let version I153 had 2x20mm cannons, retractable gear, carried more fuel than spitfire. And the CR42 was tied with the hurricane we have now, Hurricane had top speed of: 314MPH and C42:312MPH only a 2 mph differance!

And There was a very fast italian biplane dont know the name of it though.

Yeah, I would surely love to see the Beaufighter as it's one of my favourite WW2 planes!!  :)

The preferred variant would be the RAAF Mk.21 with 4 x 20mm Hispano & 4 x .50cal MGs & upper .303 MG.

Of course there are other planes that need to be added, but then this thread is about the Beaufighter!  Bring it on... eventually HTC!!  :)

I'd love a Beau too, would give the RAF a Torp and ground attack plane.
Balance... well errmm give the LW the HS129??  can't remember its name...

Tu 2 and IL2 T for the russian fans

sm79II for the italians

Japanese have their Ki67 already, tho something better for ground attack might help fill a gap or two..

US have TBM and all their heavy fighters no worries there

there +)

Beau has a place afterall
