Despite my issues with the map, I think this is the 2nd best release yet. Best has to be the CV release. Did a 2 weeker back in Tour 1, didn't start paying until Tour 5...does that make me a "vet"?

I miss the beta map and sfterr (i think thats the name.. the 10k A1 map).

v1.05 was great. Carriers and loads of other things. Map rotations began with that version too!

I think the new release is fine. But even if I didn't; for $.50 a day it would have to get pretty damn bad before I'd even think about leaving.
I just don't understand how so many people can make such an ordeal out of this game. They act like some one stole their puppy when they don't get exactly what they want, exactly when they want it.

Still miss the original FM...so everything from 1.4 (?) has been downhill

. I let my account expire by accident (cancelled credit card) while I was traveling alot (sigh got to be 2000+ perkies I've lost that way:(). I'd say 1.10 is another evolution in the game though. downloaded it over holiday so I'll be up soon. Anyway, It's amazing to find a game that redefines the flight sim...then does it again in less than 2 years.

1.05 with 1.10 very close.

Remember my first view of 2 cv groups in battle with all that tracers. Amazing. Fps gone through chimney the first days till patch was out ;-)

V0.33 Leaving FA and finding AH the first day of open Beta was the best. The rest has been gravy

Best of all for me, ever, was 1.02.(addition of ground vehicles and that big map with center mountain, heck I liked that map a lot)

In my order of preferences, 1.02 was followed by 1.03 (Fw190A5, finally,hehe), and that version where we got 3 new Fw190s (F8,D9 and Ta152

) in a single stroke. However those two were far from being as nice as 1.02

The worse of all (well, the lest good) for me was 1.04. I honestly hated the new FM, but once I got the touch of it, it was ok again . I Still miss the old FM,tho, no matter how wrong it was.

1.05 was neutral for me. Not good, not bad. I've really never cared about the fleet, to be honest

Will always miss the old(wrong) flight model. While the bomber changes are the best thing to ever happen to them in the AH since they let us drop hangers.....I dont know about the rest. I dont know anything about the new strat model...
I would have to rate whichever release put in the perk system as better then this one...

I don't have any particular favorite version. All of 'em have been good, and added something new to the game.

I do like this version tho, cuz they added the F4F4... and the new smoke effects are pretty cool.

Although, I'd still like to see planes going down after the pilot bails out rather than the current mutation into a chute.

Then that will prolly be the best version for me.

Otherwise, they've all been good for me.

This is my favorite, because of one thing --- the new rocket smoke.

I do all my chute shooting with rockets. And it's important for me to know that the last thing the little guy sees is a visually appealing smoke trail coming at his head.

The new planes, map, bombers, and other stuff are pretty good too.
