The Tony has as it arament what is considered to be one of the Best 20mm cannons of the entire war.
The Ho-5, is an upsized derivative of the Browing 50cal MG, the Ho 103 is the 12.7mm MG on the tony, which is basicaly a coppy of the Browning gun. But these are not just simple coppies, the Japanese improvied on the design, they made the weapons lighter than their US counterparts, the ammo is a bit lighter as well, and the Japanese were Sold on HEI(Heigh Explosive Incendeary rounds) they fired almost all HEI, the only thing that was not was the tracer, which was a composit AP/tracer round. The rounds are a bit lighter so do not Reach out their like hispanos, and they do not hit as hard as the 20mm Type 99 rounds(which hit 99% as hard as hispanos), but the rate of fire is Very Heigh and a short burst deleavers a ton of them on target.
So get in close (I set my Convergance at 400) and place your shots, I use the MG's to get a feal for this and Make the commitment with the 20mm:)
I had the pleashure of examong bot a Ho 5 and a Ho 103, I actualy picked them up, they were well made, and yes very light, in sharp contrast to the US 50 Cal Browning, which is a gut buster to pick up.
