Who do you respect in the CT?

i flew the zero all week since i am in a japanese squad the only thing that worked for me is that  my climbing ablity could keep me above my enemy long enough to bore him in to making a mistake
like climbing up to try to enguage or getting suckered ito a turn fight usually 1vs1 or even 1vs2 most of the time i could get a kill.

but most of the time i found my self in a whirling furball with no means of escape ( i got impatient ) major mistake on my part
it is very hard to escape a diving f4f  usually i am a very patient flyer but for some reason in a zero i get into a hurry up and get a kill and flee for home mentiality why i do not know. ( thats the worst thing you can do in a zero).

i did like this set up  i learned a bit more about my loved a6m2
some good and some bad.

i well be better next time around :)

F4F vs Zeke...  HO.  Your 6 0.50's will shred that Zero before he can get close enough to effectively put the 20mm cannons on you.  Say what you want about the HO, that's flying smart.  armament and durability both are square in the Wildcat's corner in that matchup.  The HO variables are armament, armor, and gunnery skills.  The 50's have much better ballistics than the 20mm so you get a gunnery bonus as well.  Aside from that, do what Durr says.  Escape route is a must.

Zeke vs F4F.  What Durr said, with one addition.  Climb.  Zeros climb a lot better than the F4F.  When the F4F overshoots on his boom and starts to zoom, climb as much as you can while maintaining manueverability.  Eventually, you should be able to negate the alt advantage (assuming you avoid his guns in the process!  ;) )

This year I am starting a 7/8th grade combo class at a small elementary school. Prior I was at a high school teaching civics, economics, U.S. History, and basic computers. I will miss the high school, but this move is for the better for a variety of reasons.

Given my druthers I'd play CT more, as it's where my squad is, but it can be frustrating sometimes when I only have a short time to play and there are only 9 people in the CT. I like gobbling up the newbies in their La-7's though in the MA, and since I've been grounded w/ a broken hand I need all the free food I can get. The guys in the CT are top shelf, and the CT has a way of weeding out the whiners. You fight, you mess up, and you're gonna die, sinple as that. em and move on. I do! Peopole are also more willing to call out 1-1's and offer tips after a good fight. I'm not into the trash talking, I get enough of that in RL :)
