Thanks guys.
Puck, you would not beleive the conversation I had with AT&T's top tier support person.
AT&T: I can loop the CSU.  Looks good, must be on your end.
Me:  How can you loop the CSU when the smart jack has no power?
AT&T:  No errors, looks good from here.
Me: No errors huh?  How about now?
AT&T:  Still looks good.
Me: Funny, I have pulled the smart jack from the cage
AT&T:  Odd,...but still loops good.
Me:  Do you know what a smart jack is?
AT&T:
Well, according to the build-out, you have a RJ-45X.
Me:  No, there is no extended jack.  We have a smart jack and this is a 4 wire build-out, not a HDSL build-out.
AT&T:  That is not what it says here.  .....Still loops good.
Me:  I do not know whose T1 you are messing with, but you might want to stop, or you are going to get more support calls from that client.
AT&T:  Well,...I need to check something.  Let me call you back.
That was about 9:30am yesterday.  Fianlly at about 1:00am this morning, Verizon figured out what the problem was.  I do not know what monkeys AT&T is hiring these days, but I have never dealt with such an incompetent moron in my life at that high of a level.
Gotta love this buiness.
