From an Israeli newspaper:

" Chechen Terrorists to be Buried in Pigskin    

According to the Moskovski Komsomol newspaper, Russian security forces have decided to bury the terrorists from last's week's hostage siege wrapped in pig's skin. The aim is to deter potential Islamic terrorists from future attacks.

Shahidi (Jihad martyrs) believe by their nefarious acts that they ascend immediately to heaven. Using their beliefs against them, wrapping their corpses in 'unclean' pigskin prevents them from entering heaven for eternity."

Yep. I can support this idea. Although I don't think it will deter them and may well increase the ferocity and violence.

Still, I like the idea. It's even better than Pissing on their graves.

is that because you enjoy inflicting rape and torture on thousands of Chechen civilians too? Or just because you think the road to peace and reconciliation is paved with the corpses of eternally damned muslims?

What is there to like about that sort of gesture. The act of taking hostages was bad enough, why goad them any further beyond simply shelling their cities until flat and executing rape witnesses?

Like we don't have enough bad feeling, we gotta add to it.

Let's see:  these a-holes belong to a cult which tells them that if they blow up 800 innocent civilians they will get a free trip to paradise.   However, the rules say they can't get there wrapped in pigskin.  So this move tells the rest of the bloodthirsty vermin that just because you can kill women and children doesn't mean you'll necessarily get the 72 virgins.  I'd say that's some disincentive there.  

You seem to think this move on the theater goers was politically legitimate.

It's a very rational response to attempt to deter terrorism, we'd call it psyops . But I can see it's evoking some irrational responses on this board .

Yes they are just poor freedom fighters.  They were stopping those mean theatregoers from oppressing them.  It wasn't actually a musical, it was a secret meeting of the Chechen Opression League, part of Russia's "shadow government", and therefore a legitimate military target.  :rolleyes:

Yeah those russians did pretty well, Terrorists killed only couple hostages but russian troops well over hundred.
