There are some decent ones, most didn't catch on because they suck. For instance miller beer is not particularly good, but it is not purchased based on the quality of its taste, so marketing execs should not be (but invariably are) suprised when non alcoholic versions of crappy tasting beer do not sell well. O'Dooles and Sharps are in that category.
I've had Kaliber (made by Guiness) and it's actually pretty good.
