I have had it with the whiners and squeakers here.  HTC works their collective tulips off IMPROVING this game.  They give us an update that fixes and addresses many concerns that a lot of people have shared here on this BBS.  Yet, for some reason, you guys decide to start a thread where you squeak and moan about not having this plane added or this thing fixed.  Some of us come to this forum to share thoughts in constructive ways, be understanding and generous with people who have issues with certain aspects of this game, get involved in marvelous debates that never resort to name calling.

If it wasn't for the wonderful support I get from my squaddies, I would have left this game long ago.  You guys need to grow up and start acting like responsible and supportive people of high moral standing and ethics.

Man, some people just don't get it.

p.s.  you are all as bad as the "luftwhining potatos" that you rush to denegrate every time they post a well thought out and constructive criticism of a problem that they have researched concerning the greatest planes ever flown into combat.

I'd like to complain that Mathman's sense of humour got left out of this upgrade!

That or his sense of humour is far too subtle and classy for anybody's good! ;-)

Yup, either Mathman's sense of humor is dryer than mine or he needs to smoke another one. ;)

Whining about whiners? Well, lack of hysterical capitalization, the absence of swearing and no name calling caused points to be taken away. I give it only a 6.5.... :D

HTC doesn't ever model anything I want, and they don't ever put any effort into any of their aircraft.

The new P51D model has a crappy forward cockpit view- it's obvious that since this plane is amongst the most popular, they were trying to pork it to force people to fly other planes.. but what other planes are there? LuftWaffe planes? Hah! I read about those in a book where a pilot was shot down over Germany in late '43 on an escort raid. After he took on 20 109s singlehandedly, and shot 19 of them down, one got lucky and shot out his engine. So he jumped out of his plane and masterfully positioned his body so that he landed right on the 109. After a brief struggle, he forced the cockpit open, bludgeoned the surprised blonde hair blue eyed knight of Germany with the blunt end of his flight pistol, then threw the German's unconscious body out of the plane and took control of it!!!! He proceeded to strafe several German secret weapons facilities which set back the war progress for Germany by several months and foiled their planes for an ubersoldat!!! He then flew back (still in the aforementioned 109) to the US where he was personally awarded a CMOH on the spot by Roosevelt!!!!!!!

Speaking of which, why can't we do the above???????? I have several documents and diagrams sketched in my mind which depict how easy it is to commandeer enemy aircraft mid flight.. all we need to do is place me under hypnosis and recover these images from my mind!!!!!!

I'd quit again because HTC never listens to me, but last time I did that, I was in such a depressed state (because AH means so much to me) that I went out to a bar, got piss drunk, got a couple hookers, woke up with several STDs and 12 kids!!!!!!!

I think HTC owes me an apology for that!!!!!!!! I also think that my opinion on how they should run their business matters, so I have sent HTC some facsimilles drawn up in crayola crayons (the original 8 colors) depciting an excellent business plan and how to bring aboard more programmers and artists so that they can bring us the penultimate WW2 simulation to date!!!! If you are doubting my credibility, I graduated from kindergarten and successfully run my own finger painting art school (for ages 3-8)!!

Hey SW, the game "Crimson Skies" had mid-air captures of other aircraft IIRC   :)

So yes, it does exist.
