Sun Tod Allied Orders
« on: January 11, 2003, 07:31:12 PM »
Have not been sent or even considered at this point.

I log in here to see somebody has decided to make me CO for this frame without even consulting me.

Now i was expecting to do this next frame and not this week, so i have not even been thinking about TOD.

Its now 1.25am Sunday just came out of Cap and time for sleep, if i get time tomorrow around all the Honey do's I will see if i can come up with something.

Bottom line is Allied orders have not been sent, and if i can get em done no gaurantees you will receive em before Tod rolls.

The above thread was posted 10 days ago. You never said you could not be the frame C.O. You put yourself down as your squad C.O. and the squad member willing to be the Frame C.O. If your not checking the TOD BB on a regular basis you should.

Your going to put the whole Sunday TOD on hold if you don't do what is expected of you.

Actually that thread says I'm the CO for this week.  I asked Fork on 1/3/03 if I could trade with Cav because I have tickets to a Raiders playoff game tomorrow and can't attend TOD.  I thought Cav had been notified.  Sorry about that.  :(

Not to be a pain in the ass, but why do we not set some rules for CM/CO to have Orders ready in case that some missunderstadning etc. could be solved before the last day of the event, so that we have the time to get it out in time!

Etc. Set a rule for it like ,CO`s for the countries should have sent there orders out to the diffrent squadrons on Friedays at 2100cet/1500est at the lates!

Someting in that way;). Just a thought.

NB: SALUTE TOD team, and the CO who have there squdrons in on TOD;).

OK its now 4.30pm Sunday, my tasks for the day are complete.
So now i can sit down and sort some orders out.
I received an email which warned everybody the Tod may be cancelled due to lack of allied orders.
THAT is not gonna happen, i am doing them now.
They will be sent and the ref to people possibly not recieving them is because i know some of these ISPS take forever delivering them.
From past experience mainly Fariz :)

If any allies do not receive orders by email they will be informed before Tod rolls.

And daddog the facts are i was down to CO the third frame not this one, for this reason i only make a point of tracking this thread usually 1 day before Tod to receive our squads specific orders not to come and find CO duties have been reallocated without even asking if i can do it.

I have recieved an email containing allies objectives and informing me of the CO change but this was after checking when Cap finished last night.

It appears there was a long delay between Funked informing he could not attend and me being told it was landing in my lap.

But it will be done.

Cav, I sent the orders to Warloc just in case you couldn't make it and he is working on some now, if you prefer.  This will leave you free to work on next week's as originally planned.....

Ok Flossy leave it with Warloc he must have a head start on them by now.

I will revert back to CO for next frame.

I dont want anybody thinking i was being an bellybutton over this, but i have a life and responsibilities to family outside of AH which means i have to give them my time when needed.

Some Sundays i have a 410 mile drive collecting or returning daughter to university, I always make sure orders are passed to squad just in case i dont make it although so far by breaking some err regulations i have made it back in time.

Point of this is you cannot just make me Tod CO with 1 days warning because the time will come when i am not here or do not have time to do anything with it.

In this case i became aware of it early am Sunday, having now given the family time doing jobs required etc i was willing to do the orders and they would have been done and sent in time.

I am only letting Warloc continue as Flossy has sent the orders to him and he will be head down working away on them as i type.

It would not be fair to Warloc and would cause much confusion if we both ended up sending conflicting orders now.
