Towd. No one has ever called me a cheerleader . How ever. Your comments dont make alot of sense to me. You can set up your own H2H arena, to have every last thing you mentioned above. Disable the 1c. disable bombers(i do). Disable one of the sides. Ect.

I for example, put the 20mm right back to the leatality they were. And just diabled the 1c.

Towd is a putz.........

There are some of us who fly to fight, it really doesnt matter what HTC has planned down the road. I am here now and fully intend to enjoy myself regardless.

Let HTC release what is relevant at there own pace and with there own agenda.I see nothing but good things down the road..

Dog out........

Does this mean MG would not be welcome if we had a Mac version?

good god, please leave it as three teams, i just got my squad page on the squad links and the story is about three countrys, not two.

Ouch doug you raised an ugly spector there???
I hope that admonition to Towd was not an ultimatum of "it's our way or the highway" and I am not defending towd's tone only slightly concerned with HTC's seemingly "thin skin".

Weeeellllll.... *almost * sentences

Any idea what this "sentence" means?

"great for a sim or is is so one side can keep up the vulch constantly?"

Or how about this little nugget:

"you got them for life my condolences."

Generally I look fer capitalization to clue me in on where a sentence starts.... It woulda helped immensely in deciphering  this here Towd-speak

Ostwind ack traps in the canyons...

I only hope that this is not the first thread that some aspiring member of our comunity sees.

Towd, some of your points were good some were exagerated some where a matter of opinion. None justified the tone of your note. I have talked to you enough to know how far a post like that would get with you.

The 1.8 buff thing has to be extrordinarily rare. I have been on both sides of the buff guns as much as most anyone and you are pretty safe at 1.5 from buff guns. At that range anything more than a warning ping is extrodinarily rare. Of course you must admit that it damage is possible though, we both know that a .50 will go that far and punch through thin aluminum at that distance and kill a pilot if it hits him. So really we are arguing probabilities.

I have experianced the "bomber terror" you mentioned quite often in the arena. Lots of people will not engage a buff.

The stuff you said about the 1c was off base. The guy you insulted patiantly acknoledged the problem under months of snivleing from me and others. He eventually found a solution that he and most of us are happy with. The remaining complaints about the Hispano 20mm are from people that havent looked into the capabilities of the cannon as much as they should. It was better then the other cannons.Particularly as regards accuracy and penatration. Its supperiority is not a matter of play ballance or opinion. It is historical fact.

The three sided battle is one of my remaining pet peeves. That feeling is not universal amongst the players though and it definatly generates lots of scraps the way it is, which is its primary purpose after all.

The rest of you should have left Pyro to handle it once he stepped in. He did a much better job then you. I see some IDs there that have vented a bit in the past. Kind of a shame to see you all gathering arround like bullies in the school yard.
Wardog accepted of course. One has to make allowences for long standing and mutual animosity.

Well Pongo this will be my 67th post to your 1100 some odd, but I will always reserve the right to speak to something that bothers me, no matter how many folks post who seem to think that THEIR opinion is the ONLY one.

LOL, TOWD, man you need some Home training

Hey Pongo-- .50 cal pounch through thin aluminium at 1500 yds? you bet and then some. That round has a 500 grain projectile launched at close to 3000 FPS. It will do better than punch through aluminum at 1500 yards.

has there been a out cry for the friggin beta terrain? if so i missed it .

or conversly have you given it some improvement? that would make the tired bellybutton terrain worth it? we want historical terrain and have waited a year already sheesh

and where if we dont like the ju 88  we can go make our own sim ( lots of other people are makin other sims  and being rude to the customers is a great way of losin customers)not the boot lickers who will shurly flame me for questioning the godlike wisdom of htc even tho they have no idea what is goin on .you got them for life my condolences. they have killed most verbal interaction on this bbs with their endless haranging of anyone who questions anything about the game.

30 bucks is a amount that must be justified  and i have no idea where this sim is goin . other than reading posts where hts claims the buff guns are no different from fighter guns ( yall lost alot of credibility on that one)

in short im payin and have since day one (so no snyde comment about fraud) and am startin to get tired of the similaritys of this sim to the old wb crap ( any voice of desention is runn off fast )  and changes every version that inhibit playability ( i.e. hog c) and the lasers wich took months of ( wineing or is it complaining when we are right? to get toned down to meer silly ness ) killin a panzer with a level ho in a hog is still totaly stupid and possible )

people beg for a 2 sided war and we get  3 sides. great for a sim or is is so one side can keep up the vulch constantly? the side changes but it is always some version of 2 on one ALWAYS

same with d 1.8 kills from buffs, arena is full of offensive b 26s lol.  people dont try to intercept much so bases are alway porked almost at will.this is for the sake of playability (ohh i forgot it is a figment of my imagination and everyone elses apperently)

(note to flamers

if you dont like what i say great!! im talkin to htc not the crowd of bellybutton kissers who attack all who complain) or are they one in the same?
