Oh well. How about getting them to fly in more than just a circle?

Hi zroostr,
Although the drones don't do a lot enemy field (& CV) ack shoots back at you and also the many enemy train & truck convoys will have a go as well if you get close enough.

The drones can also be useful to developing tracking techniques when trying to learn the views system.  Fly around them, trying to always keep them in sight while maneuvering your plane.  You can also use them for deflection shooting practice, approaching from angles other than the rear.  You can also use them when learning to fire different weapons, especially ones with poor ballistic properties.

They are totally predictable, but early on that can be useful to get some practice.
