Looking For SWOTL...
« on: February 15, 2003, 09:51:26 PM »
Several months ago there was a discussion on old flight sims.  I remember sombody had a copy of SWOTL that they were e-mailing.

Does anybody have a copy they are willing to share?

Shit, I have it on the Lucas art aircombat classics, which is three diskettes . Trying to install them so that I can email it to you but it's being a pain in the ass. Keeps saying diskette1 is not formatted . Anybody remember how to use these diskette things ?

I probably have on my HD some old SWOTL missions I threw together that were pretty cool (from a vid-game aspect).  But the game.. alas, no.

Try running scandisk on the first diskette, sounds like the boot sector is damaged...

Suave I betcha the 31/2s' you have are the 760mb type.  I believe the newer 31/2s' drives  that are for1.4mb disks can't read them.....of course I could be wrong.  Different format.

SWOTL RULED!!

I still crank up the old 386 to play it now and then.  I wish Lucasarts would REDUE this game.  I mean there is no other flight sim SINCE that does the same thing were you can setup flights, be apart of it or just go out fly as a pilot.

OH THE GLORY DAYS of FLIGHT SIMS
