No it doesnt matter when it comes to lawsuits. The only thing that shoyuld be proven is incitement of violence - and it's pretty clear that these protest oranbizers should expect that violence and estruction will occur. so they should be sued and have their budgets taken away.

People are seeing their friends, loved ones and neighbors going into harms way. Some are very scared. The last thing they want/need is someone very very detatched from all this, like you or Blitz sit and question, argue, spew filth over the war and the troops.

Yes actually you can make a similar argument about the KKK. Most racistrs in america are very quiet and dont act out against people. The KKK itelsf was aloso a fairly loose oraganization with an inderuct command chain. And of course there is nothing to say that each indiviadul big money protest oragnizer cannot be sued as well.. For example there were similar lawsuits againts other hate groups.

al, i;m saying is that these people encurage and organize disruptive events which are known to deliberaly cause property damage and disruption of business activity. These acts then force amage on innocent people and the oragnizers shoul be helad accountavble. Granted its not as greusome as creating the attitudes that lead to lynching of innocent blacks but the legal argument holds just the same. They are at fault.

Firstly, that's your opinion, Hortlund. And in that case, there should be a complete cessation of all posts that even mention protests or France or politics.

Why?

Because, otherwise it's just a once sided 'filth spewing' match. And you know EXACTLY what I mean by that.

Secondly, this is the O-club. Current affairs have always been discussed here, even during conflict. If people don't want to participate, they don't have to. They can happily play AH, read a book or pray - anything at all. They don't have to come here.

Thirdly, I'm from one of the three countries who will be doing the fighting. Unlike Sweden. I have two friends involved in this myself. My comments do not 'spew filth' over them or their efforts. I'd be devastated if anything happened to them as I spent 4 years going through college with them.

Lastly, keep your poisonous, vapid opinions on others to yourself. I'll try and do the same, and the world, or at least this O-Club, will be a little happier.

Its really simple. The usual suspects show up to spout garbage, and those of us that didnt skip Mid East Politics 101 to protest post to inform them that they are wrong.

Actually, the state would be well within their rights guaranteed by the law to fine these people and jail them for an indefinite period of time.

You need a permit to protest, you can't just say, "diddly all you people trying to get to work, we're protesting now!"

If you need to ask why, then you haven't thought it through. Police have to setup barracades, redirect traffic, etfc.

So yes, these people are actually breaking the law.

Breaking the law in the US maybe. But in the UK things are a little different. Anyone can gather in a public place and protest.

Here in the US you need a permit to protest in a city, otherwise your smelly hippy bellybutton goes to jail.
