Protesting is fine. We got a call from my mother-in-law who lives downtown San Francisco and who stated "it's a war zone here." This goes well beyond "protesting." I guess these people are wearing black armbands and are running around destroying things and disrupting the usual course of events for people/businesses in the community.

The subject we are discussing here is just this. To throw in subject's such as the KKK shows an inability to discuss the topic at hand and is typically how a child argues by running to other topics. (And I know, I have an 8 yr old and 6 yr old...."but Jonny did this...blah blah.") Somehow you think your "devil's advocate" position puts you on a peak looking down on the rest of us but it really only just puts your head in the clouds.

Protest comes in many forms. There is nothing wrong with peaceful protest and the day that changes is the day I'll know democracy is at an end.

I introduced the KKK as an example of a group held financially liable for inciting general violence and cusing rael harm just as belive the protest organixers should be held liable for deliberate proprety damaga and loss of revenues or personal incomes to innnocent bystanders during their riots.

What we have here in San Fran, and what this whole topic is about, is that this is beyond acceptable protesting and should be and is considered illegal acts. My apologies on the pie-hole thing then, I guess we agree and I misunderstood you. Pie and beer on me as an apology.
