Hard to believe the vacuum created would be this strong?

"The officers said the tank unit fired two 120 mm high velocity depleted uranium rounds straight down the main road, creating a powerful vacuum that literally sucked guerrillas out from their hideaways into the street, where they were shot down by small arms fire or run over by the tanks."

Nah, that is a buncha hooey. The more likely scenario is that the noise of the rounds got their attention and they broke cover in fright. The discarded sabot's might have had a bit to do with it too as they are rather nasty hig velocity chunks of metal wizzing off in the distance.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
