I agree that sector bars should only show up near fields, but we need some warning. That said, I noticed a huge red sector bar on the map with no explanation, took off with my Typhoon and ran into a whole bunch of low heavy 47s... I felt kind of guilty for breaking up their attack considering it would have been successful if not for the tell-tale sector bars.
That said, I'm glad I could find them. Lining up on a P47 and watching him jettison his 1,000lbers at 50ft put me out of action for a good 5 minutes, I was laughing *that* hard
