I know that MT....I work for a company that pioneered the use of ozone friendly gases to replace halon fire extinguishants.

My post was in response to the global warming post in this thread...or didn't you catch on to that?

But I do think it was cute how you quoted yourself....you should start your posts in the future like this....MT says...

This powerful picture convinced me right away. Those two little guys with a balloon in a right lower corner just can't be wrong. And on top of it, the info comes from the internet.

Count me as a believer now.

Stricter. Theres a huge uproar here over the so called "fart tax" imposed on sheep and cattle farmers. Whats making it worse is farmers receive no credit for forestry. Most farms in NZ have diverse crops, for example a lot of dairy farms have forestry plantations as well.

Last time I saw a pollution chart places like china were one of the biggest contributors. The Kyoto treaty is a load of bollocks, if its not equally applied whats the point?

Heres some refs on the NZ thing:

I remember a few years back while I was living in Houston.  There was this big convention in DC about global warming, the ozone and the weather.  Some big shindig that Clinton was having or something.  Well Dr. Neal Frank, the weather man for  CH. 11 in houston and the former head of the National Weather Service was asked why he wasn't going to attend.  His response.... " Look,  we can't tell what the weather will be like next week. What makes anybody think we'll be able to tell what it will be like in 50 years."  That just about sums up my position on all this crap.

Bush is right not to sign that stupid treaty.  I tell you what,  if all the other nations on this planet would do 1/2 the stuff the US does to stop pollution we'd have no supposed problem....

more hypocritical BS from the american/bush haters....
