They are pretty stupid to begin with.
considering their target audience, its not a good idea to say anything bad about a republican politician, less so the president himself.

"So we now consider ourselves part of the big Rock 'n' Roll family."

And I consider you part of the "Your sound sucks" community.

the most suicidal statement ever.

So good bye career.  Someone needs to shut their yappers before its too late.  They barely are acceptable as a country band.  So lets pissed off the only people who buy our records and say we are rock.

Because rock people get chubs for the dixie chicks.  ummmm yea, sure.

so what they are saying is that they can play more then 3 chords now and write lyrics that are more then just "yeahha what a cheerful country girl i am" ?

If so, congratulations on your advancement.

In terms of musical skill even rap has country beat hands down.

It really dosnt matter what genre they classify themselves as. They have talent and they have a large fanbase; they can call themselves rap and still make millions and sell out their tour.

Im not gonna completley flame you, and I will agree that a lot of mainstream rap you hear and see on on the radio and MTV/BET is pretty crappy and I would not label them musicians.

OTOH.

A lot of the Rap artists I listen too, are very much musicians. A lot of them make there own beats using guitars, drums, which would technically make them musicians.

Would you say the former Rage against the Machine were not musicians? What about the Beastie Boys?
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
