Dumbest thing you can do. Period.
On Friday morning you will realize this too.
However, some things you need to learn the hard way. Unfortunately. Your call, but you are making a mistake.

These are wise words too mia.  Careful man.  I've fallen into the "Well she won't do that to ME" trap a couple of times.

Mia, go by Stetson and find yourself a girlfriend.
Or come to Daytona and we'll go drinking and clubbing, and maybe find you a ready and willing babe :)

Anyways, with your checkride approaching, your mind should be on that and not avacados.

Stuff like that only happens in movies aimed at teenagers in love.

Mia:  "I love you"

She-FI:  "Oh you want an endorsement to take your checkride...well how bout this.  How bout no."

Mia:  "Wh..wh...whyyy?  What about all that ground instruction you didn't charge me for"

She-FI:  "A courtesy from one pilot to another you hopeless piece of trash, ask Golfer...he had a human locomotive as a CFI and wasnt charged for ground instruction.  My god I wanted to help you achieve a goal and you just wanted to help me out of my skirt."

Mia:  "But...I love you."

Brutus:  "Die puny little bastage!"

The End.

You don't get your certificate because she wouldnt sign you off, and you are now a dinner plate.  Tell me, do you want to be a dinner plate for the rest of your life?  If you do not, then leave well enough alone and settle for a peek in moderation.

you're right

at 23 you think with the little head more than you do with the big one just as much as when you did when you were 16

just at 23, you are more able to act on those "thoughts" :)

like stated above - you want to get involved with someone who would cheat on her finance? nice relationship 4 sure ..

as if learning to fly was not enough.. you gotta get willie into the act

gl mia with your "pilots license" LOL

as for young posters, it is my right as a middle aged american to argue their inexperienced opinions :)

Oh come now Eagler...

Where are you pulling that from?  Statistics? :p  I'd like to see'em.

I dont believe there is a golden "average" or even an accurate statistic  that you can draw all these conclusions of all 23 year olds.

It's b-u-n-k.

You may be right, but you may be wrong.  But only 99.9999% either way :)

Mia, please let us know how the train wreck turned out.  It's always interesting to hear the details.  Don't leave anything out.  Remember to tell us about how the expression on her face changed from curiousity to shock as you spoke, then transformed into a mix of embarassment and anger.

Also, please be sure to describe the extent of your mortification and whether or not you wanted to just die or if you wanted to kill yourself spectacularly.
