Those sentries on the hills are rather easy to go by as long as stays prone.
Those others are worse, since they see even through the rocks.

Also, when you start hearing some weird shouting, it is the sentries signalling they're about to see you.

It took me about half an hour to pass.

this is yet another example of a lesson the army needs to take from the Marine Corps (friendly riff :) )

The USMC still uses paper targets and scores them the "old school" way, a person in the butts puts a marker were the round hit and the shooter can clearly see it.  Not real practical for real life use but the shooter learns how to dope his weapon properly and make proper corrections.

this said....my ucle was in veitnam and said most of his rounds that he fired in combat were from behind a tree without him not even looking down the barrel.

I've been to rifle ranges were they use some new scoring system thats all computerized....Personally I preferr the old school way. :)

IS it still screwed up? I still can't get on the forums or get out of the obstacle course.  It just locks up after completion and won't mark it as done..

Ok I give up. I get about 15 mins into the crawling mission .. right when i can see the bridge I get caught. NO matter where I go or how slow I move. I was even moving a pixel, pause, move a pixel pause.. still nailed me at the base of the opposite ridge in the shadows.. this is no game...

IMO there should be more missions like this, so they would actually require something from people when they try to pass training.
Everything else is simply too easy.

Put in your mind that the AI sentries has sort of a minimum range when it doesn't matter worth a crap how slow you move or how long you stop, they'll spot you.
Other interesting thing I noticed, is that AI won't spot you under the spotlight if you don't move, but will notice if you move....

Yeahm Sunking. Low and slow at almost all times. Also as I posted above be aware you have two different move speeds for each position, standing, crouched and prone each has it's own two move speed setting. When you're near or even think you're near sentries go prone and slowest and even then do what you said about move and stop. But keep in mind if you do the move/freeze at the fastest prone speed you're still basically doing a fast-crawl/freeze and the sentry will see you.

Low and slow and always take the hardest path. If you're crawling through the swampy creek bottoms dead slow you're doing good. Also, bear in mind that there are sentries posted on almost every ridgetop looking down into the valleys. Use your binoculars to mark their patterns.

You're given all the tools you need to pass E&E.  It's not impossiable if you just use common sense and pretend you're actually there.

It took me about four tries and three hours on a Sunday afternoon.  If I can do it....

I spent the time to get this game and finish the training. The hardest part was getting the darn server to recognise me and accept training scores.

Now how do you get onto a server? Everyone that I tried requires a password to join and trhe game logon isn't it.

Is the SF setion a seperate download from V.2.0?
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Okay...I give up.  What is UT?  I d/l'd this POS and all it does is lock up my system when I try and install it.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

When you start the game click the deployment button then go to filters and be sure that ONLY the official servers box is checked as these are the only ones you can earn honor on. Think of it as experience. SpecForces is a part of the 2.0 download but you must have 15 honor to be able to play special forces types.

Well then maybe they should just play for the Indigenous Forces.
