freebirds are a great bunch of pilots.  post of the most fun missions i have ever seen, they come close to shane 2 missions ever 30 mins month in july, which was awesome :D (remebers 202 mission where we all capped field and took it.)  had some good times over there will rty to return one day.:D:p

MMM Perhaps a response from the other side of the curtain.

I have the greatest respect for the Freebirds!  <>

They are a strat oriented bunch who work together well.  It is always obvious when they are on and moving.  They show good humour, respect for friend and foe, they play the game as if they love it. :aok

I find it particularly interesting when my own squad and FB's crunch into each other.  We go toe to toe and have a great time.  I remember one particular session on AKDesert when the FB's had decided that we had taken our last base.  Their stand was nothing short of terrific.  No matter how solid our cap on that base was they kept upping and not just dumbly either.  Sometimes they swarmed from all points, then it was b26's etc and heaven help us whenever the VH popped up.   Hangars down, they arrived in la7's pony's goons and whatever. We got the field in the end but only when 2 other squads and a lot of countrymen joined in.  It was probably 50 against the FB's and they stopped us for over an hour.  Knits should have given them medals.

I also like their no-nonsense attitude.  If there is a CV vulching their field - they sink it.  If someone is mouthing them, they smile and wave.  If they need to kill fuel/troops/ord to stop the rot they do it.  I don't know, but I bet they are also the ones that run supps when a field is down?

Joker is a great ambassador for the FB's.  The others aren't bad either but:

Tonight was my first night flying alongside the FreeBirds in a mission.  I was very impressed.  I just wanted to say that you guys put on one hell of a show, and that I appreciate any "FB" I see around in the MA.

As far as I know I have never heard anyone talk bad about you. We never talk trash to anyone unless they start trashtalking first. Maybe just a misunderstanding. All Freebird members have an FB in front of their name. No exceptions. Thanks for joining our missions. Raptor
