Looks like fun!  We're going to do the Naches Trail this coming week-end, just the first few miles. Time to break in the new rig ;)

I was surprised to see some drivers go around or skirt (pun intended) some of the bigger obstacles. Ofcourse that was always followed up with much ribbing and ridicule over the radio. lol "Dude!! My wife is outdriving you!!" and the ever present yells of "radish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" lol I can't wait to go back.

One of the guys that rode with me is a friend from work who owns a lifted jeep and he was very impressed. I went having huge respect for this vehicle but I had no idea it was capable to the extent that it was. The jeep friend saw a particular hill we drove past and said "Thats a pretty extreme hill, I don't think we'll be going up that one." The entire group made it up that same hill about 20mins later :aok

Off road capability is a matter of relativity..>  I remember constantly pulling hummers out of the mud in Hon's .  They would always get stuck.    Now, a Bradley on the other hand...  tree in the way?  nope they break like matchsticks if ya just keep your speed up... some of the bigger ones would slow ya down a touch if you nailed enough of them in a row.  I remember almost getting killed because the mud on the trail started pouring inside the drivers hatch while I was driving.  The hatch is more than 6 feet off the ground..  We made it through just fine though!   We would almost always catch OPFOR scouts in Hummers if they went off road since they would have to actually avoid what was in front of them.  I feared nothing but really big boulders and cliffs..  they hurt.

I really strongly want to ridicule those pics, but the sight of SUV owners actually driving off-road is so amazing that I am speechless.  :D
