You were right all along about festers map , it isn't fair you fellas.

Tonite on Mindano the fuel was porked to 25 along the whole front--couple a rear bases as well.

You ruined the whole evening for the furball dweebs

You should be more flexible! :lol

I play strat and furball occasionally, even the small maps are tolerable because i can do either of these and still have fun..

Had some fun inadvertantly furballing in a Boston 3.. only killed a 109 with the 4 .303s but it was still pretty satisfying. :)

Not sure if im a Strat guy or not, little of both i suppose,
what are we called ? ")

I dont understand why so  many Pork runs are directed at fuel resources, when its so much easier to pop a couple of Barraks and disable troops , if you country is in defensive posture anyway

A good idea would be to continually insult those on your country that might venture up to stop the other "strat" players.  That works pretty well.  Afterall, there's only one country that had 2/3 of its forward fields at 25%... all the rest had no more than 1 field at less than 125%.  I guess the constant barrage might have worked on the knits... but it doesn't seem to be working on those continually kicking the knit's ass.

That's funny....gettin my arse kicked and I'm not even aware of it.

I suppose that those of you who prefer strat could care less if the current gameplay prohibits others from having fun. That's the spirit.....sure don't want a game where we ALL might enjoy ourselves....that would be awful.

Of course, the answer offerred up by most strat guys goes like this....hey, do what we do the way we say to do it or go to the DA...yeah...that works.

rude... i believe deja means "reset" when he says "getting their bellybutton kicked".

I think that I have personally seen like 2 resets in all the time I have played AH.    I don't recall it being particulary spectacular or having the feeling of having my bellybutton kicked.   I have had my bellybutton kicked (yyes... hard to believe i know) a few times and the resets never felt much like a good bellybutton kicking...  but then... maybe it's just us.

You must not be... because that is what this thread started about.  One country was getting their bellybutton handed to them by another... hell... not even two... just one.  Though... the author would have you believe all bases were like this.

Nothing about the map prohibits fun.  As a matter of fact, I'll take this moment to say I've never seen so much whining and snivelling about something as when a propenent of "fun" was hanging out in his CV ack for nearly an hour typing insults to anyone that brought a bomber near it.  I do believe that there are several people that have completely lost perspective on what "fun" is.

The DA offers the one thing you insist you're looking for.  What you don't realize is that you'd rather make others fly that way too.  Someday you'll realize the difference between something simulating a battle and what you want.  One requires adjustment the other doesn't allow for it.

I think your right....we obviously are missing out on the heart thumpin reset thingie...oh....wait a sec...I think it has to do with perk points...I've heard some speak of that being the motivation.

If all else fails, we can follow the advice of Rutilant...he seems to have an awful lot of fun avoiding fights....perhaps it is us who are confused and misdirected?

Of course there is the post he made about having Roy remove the 163 from the dueling arena....he won't tell me why, but my guess is that a 163 ruined his idea of fun in the DA....hey...wait a minute....I see how it works....when something takes place that he and those of his ilk do not like, they want it changed!

Imagine that.
