My only advice is if you don't agree on a name, work it out before the due date. We didn't...

and trust me, after seeing her go through 14 hours of labor, you will let her name the baby whatever the heck she wants to.

Curval, we used a system with my wife which worked out very well for us. however with scheduled c-section it might not do for you. Anyway.. here is how it went..

WE picked 5 boy names and 2 girl names we kinda "agreed" on, but we couldn't decide on one.
I made a list in excel looked like that:

Date, boy name, girl name
and names were pasted in as dates progressed. Boy names repeated every 5 days, girls every 2, you get the picture.
Then we printed it out, sealed it in the envelope and taped it to the door :)
When we scrambled to the hostpital we took envelope with us, and opened it 2 minutes after out daughter was born.
Her name is Bogna. It's a traditional polish name.
We're very pleased and neither of us can blame the other for "getting his/her way".

Your milage may vary :D

My wife and I named our Daughter Anastasia.

We were both Russian Linguists, and I guess the names just stuck with us.

I'm a big fan of Tatyana and Natasha as well.

You're not naming her after the ex, she would just happen to have the same name.  ;)

Hot chicks you know are an excellent source of hot names.

How about......SALLY ?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

I think you should avoid any name that is trendy (definition of trendy one that has been used by a major soap opera star or sitcom), one that has a weird spelling (look how clever my parents were they named me Kristie Christie Christy Kristy etc etc). The name should be beautiful but not common. A name that evokes a nice image when you say it and one that is inherently easy to spell but that is not common.

There really is only one name that meets all these criteria.

Colleen.

I always liked Brooke and Hayley.  My wife thought they were too common so she came up with 'Brooklyn'.
