Isn't this the one that Microsoft was involved in?  I seem to recall that there was a "Fighter Ace" icon loaded onto my desktop a number of years ago when I installed some other sim.

thats fighter ace 3.6

it gonna have a two week trial starting dec 23  .. so if your gonna try it id try it then ... other wise its 10 bucks just to play

and yes that was suppossed to go to microsoft to replace fighter ace 2.5 ....  but it  was so buggy and such a huge download that MS washed there hands of it

Ah, wasnt this the one with the great/eyecandy demo movie...then a real let down to fly?

No, that was "Air Warrior II".  Folks also thought GreyEagle's box art was representative of the level of graphics used in the game.
