Behold, the power of a gym membership.
You didn't think it was all about intellectually-stimulating conversation, did you?
One thing you have to keep in mind, and I saw this early on, is that this lady was in it from the get-go as a way to further her modeling/acting career. One of her jobs is to be an entertainer at Kansas City Chiefs games. She likes the spotlight and the glamour. She needed the television coverage. She wanted that show almost as much as the show wanted her. To that end, it makes sense that she would continue with the show, even after it was revealed that none of the guys were particularly striking in a beefcake sort of way. She never really had any intention of keeping any of the guys in that group.
One other thing worth pointing out is that she was on another tv dating show called "Meet The Parents" where 3 bachelors or bachelorettes compete for a Hawaiian vacation with a beautiful person by enduring the "tests" of meeting the person's parents. The contestants interact with the person's parents, playing various games, taking a polygraph test, and so forth, and in the end the parents select the person they'd like to see go off with their daughter or son. She didn't maintain a relationship with that suitor either.
So really, its no surprise that she'd pick some looker. She wasn't in it for any sort of long-term relationship anyway. The best the trader could've hoped to be was her sugar daddy.
But don't worry about the trader. He's got the right plan when it comes to dating. He wants the girl to want him for who he is, not what he has. He wouldn't have given her a blank check, and I suspect she knew it. Therefore, he had no value to her.
