Beet1e isnt mucking up the issue hes saying it like it is. Now you guys will follow up with ridiculous innuendos about game style and whine about fuel porking.

This was originally a well thought out thread and the first post is well reasoned and well written.

No Voss he is not saying it like it is he is crying and mucking up the issue - if you read the posts the one predominant problem is the ability to furball has died.  Thats all that has to be said.

The ability for you and beet and the rest to kill strat has not changed, yes on the fester map it is not as easy, Whaaaaaa at least you can still do it.

My freaking heart bleeds for you. So go to the DA, design your own map, or create your own H2H session. So many choices! I thought that's what you furballers liked. And it surely can't be that difficult? "The argument "It's too hard to do" is so lame!" :lol

Well Beetle you finaly have accepted the argument and your reply is "You dont care".  Now all your BS makes sense.

I just wish the rest of your cohorts would come to this conclusion too.

I would like to see the post where anyone said ... "It's too hard to do".

I believe that you are the author of this phase while swiping with your broad brush again. Beet ... don't embelish and lay your own moniker on us.

OK, let me spell it out. I've done it once, but that's OK. Twice is hardly overkill. I mean, how many times did I read "Move the fields closer together"? Right now we have maps which err towards furballing - Children's and QWW. And there are maps which are better for the strat players and others who don't like the horde mentality - Pizza and Big Isles spring to mind. And there's Trinity which most people seem to think is OK. So we have balance. I don't particularly like QWW or the Children's maps, but I'm a "give and take" kind of guy. As long as I know that the strat guys can have the maps that they like as part of the 5-week rotation, then I've nothing against you guys enjoying the small maps and QWW when their turn comes around.

But what I find to be a major source of irritation is those people who aren't prepared to accept the game on a give and take basis. It's all "me-me-me-me-me". Not content with having QWW and Children's, they also want to dictate the parameters of the other maps, and change other features to favour their style of gameplay.

Seems that some people can't operate on a give and take basis. They have to have everything all their own way, all the time.

Mars01 said "The argument "It's too hard to do" is so lame!" in his post at 6:59pm. Better look at it now before he changes it. I was merely paraphrasing him in my reply.

Can we get back to Badgers?

Apparently there is some double entendre or inuendo associated with Badger that I'm not aware of.

Besides, I think badgers are more intersting thatn this topic.

You do realize, don't you, that many in this game that come for the fight..... the furball...... have exactly that view.

It's been repeated many, many times and yes, clearly you don't get it.

Well, "we" didn't.. but Fester did.

A fine map for us. Hope he does many more, hope they are the majority of the rotation.

As for the DA, if they'd put FesterMA up in there or the essentially unused Special Events Arena and fix the incredible imbalance between fuel destruction/fuel resupply, I'm sure all the furball types would be in there on a near permanent basis.

Great solution, IMO. Everybody would be happy.

Ok, what are the honest gives on your side?

Furbllers - I'd like to see one for more than 5 mins, be able to join one and have it last for more than 3 mins.  And since they are so short lived the fields being far apart have become a symptom of the furballs disappearing.  If the furballs lasted say an hour or more, like they used to, like they have on fester, than (tongue in cheek) I wouldn’t give a crap how long it took to fly from another base, with in reason.

So back before fester, the furball community started saying move the bases closer.   Then, you could make it to them in time before it ended.  Everyone said just what you guys are saying now.  Prove it, make a map or leave the MA.

So thank goodness Fester built the map and I him for creating a place where furballs actually happen on a regular basis and there is still a very cool more demanding strat game, that hasn't even been fully figured out yet.  I thought, personally, WTG point proven.  I figured maybe now people would have a good formula for building new maps and maybe we would see more furballs, like the old days.

Thats it no takes just give backs.
