Aw4?
« on: December 20, 2003, 12:39:23 AM »
I've heard someone mention that AW4 was being released by EA soon.  Is there any truth to that?  I'm just curious because I'm wondering if it is true, how many people would be left in AH and whether I should stick with HTC.

By the way, I STILL can't kill any dweebs.

ROFL!  I wouldn't hold your breath!  That rumour has been flying around since December 7 2001.  Give it up, AW died then and it's not coming back.  I really don't think it would have a big impact on AH even if EA did manage to cobble up an AW4 - I know which company I trust the most!  :aok

If I remember correctly, Lodestone was recently (within the past month) shut down.

I was really disappointed to hear about that, especially after the hard work they did in Planetside.  It's a shame that SOE had to cancel the game they had commissioned Lodestone to make.

It's true...AW4 is coming.

I'm writing the programming code for it with pencil and paper 'cuz I don't know how to type, yet.  But, it's coming...  :)

Don't know which game it was, it only mentioned an undisclosed game but I'm guessing Car Wars was it.  Too bad as it looked like it would have been really fun.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Note the date EA closed AW. Yet another reason I will
not buy any EA products.

They could have at least waited til Christmas, which would have been a much more acceptable date.

LOL ... sorry ... it was doubtful that the date was selected because of it's historical significance. You give the EA suits WAY too much credit there. ;)
