I dont see what the difference is considering everybody just cheats and turns their gamma settings all the way up on their machines.  I for one wont do it and that leaves me helpless bait to the 99% of players who do.  I say either find a way to make gamma cheat useless or get rid of night.

Not everybody messes with the gamma.  I have found if I turn my lights out in my computer room, I can see just fine.  :p

The downside is that I can't see my keyboard.  :D

Well I haven't messed with any gamma controls. It stays exactly as its set for all aplications, and exactly as its set for daytime flying. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the LCD monitor.

Why not one US, one Euro and one Pac Rim Prime Time Night per week? Make it a regularly scheduled event and make night last for hours and hours.

Perhaps, say Tuesday night is "NIGHT IN THE MA" for the US Prime Time, 1700 Eastern until 0300 Eastern. That way those that really, really enjoy night can have a bellyfull of it and those that don't can just skip playing the MA on Tuesday night?

Then one for Euro time and one for PacRim time and that'd be the total end of it for the week.

AH2 presently has a clip board  gamma slider so every player can set it to suit his/her vid card / monitor set up.
