I think the perk costs are perfectly fine. Everything is working great!

To all the Allies complaining about the 163s and 262s...
What you want us to maybe fly a 190D9 or 109G10 in a low slow turn fight with all those Tempests and Spits14s? Give it a rest!

Besides doing a low slow turnfight in a 163 against a Spit14 is a hell of a lot of fun!

Everything does work great. Who's complaining about `em? I did say in the chat buffer that it seemed kinda gamey and pathetic for you and Deej to want to use the Komet as an on-the-deck turn-fighter when that's not what it was designed for. It kinda ruins immersion and is pretty much MA mentality. But on reflection I think it's funny as hell. How many perks does that rocketship cost on average? I'm willing to sacrifice a Temp now and then just to watch two or three Komets auger or get shot down in a ground level furball. Even funnier when a Kometdweeb runs outa fuel, bails and gets shot in his chute then whines about it.

:D

Usually costs around 20 to 25 perks. As for the MA mentality and the immersion just how many WW2 fights were there between fields 20 miles apart at under 5000'?

It is a fun and challenging fight. The exact reason why we are all flying. Personally I think everyone should try fighting a Spit14 or a Tempest under 5000' in a 163. Definitely sharpen your skills!

As for watching us auger...

Deej is 17:1
I'm 9:2

Deej augered 1 163
I crashed one on landing when the cat jumped in my lap
I had one shot down while over friendly field by someone who just HAD to kill me.

If Deej is 17:1 in his Komet then it wasn't an auger. Trust me on that. :D

Well guys I have had an absolute blast. I started out with somewhere around 400 perk points. I started flying the 262 and the 163. The 163 is awsome 1 vs 1. I lost two or three just screwing around. I have also lost many Me-262s just screwing around with them as well. Even attacking the formation bombers, you must be very carefull...it aint easy to RTB in the 262.

...anyway, my perks are down to about 150 so Its back allied for the rest of the week. Maybe a another flight or two in the 262 and 163 later in the week. Its a good thing my squad nights we will be fling the P-51Ds...lol

Can I get a witness! Amen! :D

Though I admit he did get 2 of those Komet kills on me. One noe after I had already left the fight to land. That boy sure can stretch his cup o' fuel out. Maybe the German side should be limited to just the Komet. I wonder how well it would do overall then? ;)

I went in first, he got the credit for me. I never asked if he went down. I only assumed he didnt make after the 10-12 20mm hits I saw on him before his 30mm ruined my Tempest:D

Thats ok we understand the natural fear of RAF fighters :)

...Me262 and Me163, well, as long as the CT is "balanced" . Truth be told I like the setup just fine (perk issues aside), but I couldnt resist a poke.
