Interesting ways to die
« on: May 23, 2001, 01:05:00 AM »
Man, tonight was not a good night for me in AH.  Everything I did went wrong.  All of us have pronged an Arado, but how many of you have managed to hit the map room with the wingtip of your Ju88?

How many interesting ways can you die in Aces High?

How about thinking you are igniting the RATO on the Arado while taking off only to find out you just dropped your eggs, there goes 70 perks!

Lost a wingtip on my Fw 190F-8 on low alt strafing.

Trying to egress, jettisoned my bombs and killed enemy vehicle (yes!).

Flak kills my engine because I'm fighting to fly straight and level let alone being able to maneuver (no!).

Manage to ditch with no engine and missing 1/2 a wing plus some other parts (yes!).

While skidding to a stop, a cruise within 300-400 meters of 3+ enemy Pz IVH and 3+ enemy FlaKPz IV/37 (oh toejam!).

I died from multiple 75mm and 37mm shell fragment wounds and severe gasoline burns.

That count as a bad way to die? 8)
