http://www.airwarrior.com

They're supplementing the production and development costs with mp3, movie and music downloads as well as other games.

No, the Vietnam idea was dropped long before the death of AW. Never fancied the jets myself anyway (those look good though).

Actually Flossy..... If you just followed the link  ;) hehehehh

I followed Nef's link because I was curious to know what he was referring to..... I never for one minute believed  there was any real link to AW"4"....  :p  (plus AW4 was not going to be "Vietnam")  :)

No, you are correct, no real link to AW4.  But a similar concept to the last work that was done in AW.  :)

But I respectfully disagree with you that AW4, at least initially, was not going to be Air Warrior: Vietnam.  Because I've seen some of the work (3D models and Texturing) that Kesmai was doing for AW:V  before it was canceled.  It was going to be the testbed for the new code and graphics engine, that would eventually have been transitioned into AW4.

Anyways Flossy, :) I personally invite you over to try out how 60's era jet combat is in an online environment (once we get in open beta).  Most people have some very wrong misconceptions.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone ! :)

Yep, I was aware that it was going to be AW:V initially, but as far as I remember the idea of Vietnam was dropped before AW4 was originally shelved.

Well thanks for the invite.  I'd certainly give it a try, but never been good with jets.  :)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  ;)

Hello flyboys and dweebs. I can't possibly believe that EA would ever release AW4.   With that said, I sent CAPS the Alpha for the new air warrior that mage was working on at the time of his "corporate downsizing" at EA. If anyone is confused about the AW4 title, it was technically going to be an updated game of AW3 with alot better graphics and damage model and some different gameplay. The Vietnam era game was commonly referred to as Jet Warrior. It never got off the ground, and then again, apparently neither did any other new Air warrior updates. So we were left put out by the giant EA who has cancelled about every game its ever acquired or produced for online play. I guess they never understood the concept of customer loyalty. Anyway, hope you guys are enjoying Aces High, but I could never get into it like AW. However, you never know, so if it happens and EA does release AW4, I'll regrow my wings and see you all in the sky.

Respectfully yours,
