The Midwest can have their weather back now~
« on: January 05, 2004, 09:17:13 AM »
Since Wednesday, we've received 9 inches of snow.  Its currently 19 deg. outside and theres a Canadian cold front parked over Western Washington.  The "Hawaiin Express" is on the way and supposed to hit tonight. Translated: 6-12" snow forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

The Bimmers been parked for 2 weeks now :(
*sigh*

Rip you have a 12 hp track driven snowblower, admit it. Besides, maybe the snow will knock down some power lines and you can actually fire up the generator.

I never shovelled snow when I lived in Canada.  If ice developed in the driveway or walkway I'd throw down some salt...otherwise it would just stay there until it melted.

Shoveling snow is a quick way to give yourself a heart attack.

Why do it when it will go away on its own?
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

3 inches of rain over the weekend and my sump pump has run almost non stop.  I will take snow any day, especially since it is supposed to get down to 20F tomorrow night and all of this crap is going to freeze.  Just gotta hope my sump pump line to the curb doesn't freeze.

Im reminded of Lewis Black's CD recorded in MN.

"They say Minestota is beautiful in the summer... well... yeah... cause you can feel your ****ing fingers and toes.  ///  Thats not weather... thats an emergency condition... and if you had any brains at all, youd call the Federal government and say 'get us the **** out of here.'"

LOL, you know me all too well. I appear to be the only one locally with a generator. When we do lose power up here, I make sure my porch lights are on, its my way of saying "Neener Neener" to the neighbors. :D
