Possibly, but I don't need to license and insure two of 'em.

The old one is a POS...the new one is great.

lol!

Curv, scooters rock.  Not like riding a large bike, but they're fun nonetheless.  Glad you got it back!

So what kind of evil mastermind is behind this?  Some guy breaks into your car looking for spare change!?  Hehe, the bums around here aren't THAT desperate.  Such a small island.. if he's convicted, they should allow you to deliver a swift kick in the crotch as punishment.

You should buy a cement lawn jockey for the scooter.

ya the system is pretty screwed up.  someone breaking into your car wont see a minute of jail time,  however if you catch him and..um..express a bit of anger, they will deffinately find jail space for you.

if they aren't going to enforce the law at least they should stay out of your way when you handle it yourself.

I'm sure some people get their losses investigated, but nobody I know.  as a matter of fact if your car is stolen and they catch the guy driving it, they ussually jsut give him a ticket for 'unauthorised use of a motor vehicle', and let him go on foot.
so from our view-point the idea of a full investigation for a scooter theft is pretty unusual.

Aw hell, I'm sure they'll bring them all the way to the jail for UUMV to picture and print them before they turn them loose and never see them again!

just goes to show... there is crime everywhere, even in theme parks...  what you do about it is the thing.   everything from having a guard nome to claymores on trip wires.

Curval,
Glad you got your scooter back.

Curval - good to know that you got the scooter back, especially as it means the thief no longer has it.

How does this affect your insurance? If the insurance company paid out on your original loss, does this mean you have to give up the scooter that was found so they can sell it and recover their loss to some degree?

Or will you be keeping quiet about its recovery? ;)
